Description

A pack of 5 colourful LONDON cards all printed with my original  painting. All Tied together with a pretty ribbon bow.

A card is a beautiful thing sent through the post with love and thought to someone whose day is made happier by a simple thought and the action of sending the card. I always love receiving a card and also love sending them whether it be for a birthday, a celebration or as a thank you with gratitude.

Cards are a way to keep in touch as well as to express your emotions such as love, congratulations, condolences and gratitude. A card sent through the post can mean a lot to both the sender and the recipient especially in this age of digital communication. They mean more than an email, an e-card or even a phone call sometimes.

Maybe you know that a card through snail mail with a “hello” will brighten a friend’s day. Or maybe there’s a young child in your family that would feel important to someone if they received an envelope addressed to them in the post. Whatever the reason theres never a bad reason for sending a card.

DID YOU KNOW THAT…..The first greetings cards were sent after Sir Henry Cole hired artist John Calcott Horsley to design a holiday card that he could send to his friends and acquaintances. And so a tradition was born…..
